Founder and head tour guide is
Valarie Daum Huff.
Valarie was raised in a pioneer Los Angeles family that instilled in her a respect and love for history. Her grandmother was a Daughter of the
American Revolution. Later Valarie attended University of California at
Berkeley in the 1960s and majored in American History.
As an adult Valarie sharpened her research skills working as a litigation paralegal. She is a Senior Docent at Filoli Gardens and the San Francisco City Hall. Valarie and her friend Katherine Goldsmith meticulously researched the information for HOBNOB TOURS.
Valarie is a Director of the San Francisco Opera Guild, a fundraiser for the San Francisco Museum & Historical Society, a member of the California Historical Society, San Francisco Beautiful, San Francisco Historical Association and the Foundation for Architectural Heritage.

Mary McCloy is our Irish native San Franciscan. She is a certified guide with the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild and a graduate of the International Tour Management Institute. She is also a San Francisco City Guide. She is a born walker and marathon runner who loves to share the secrets, the history and the spirit of the Nob Hill area of San Francisco.
Margot Heltne is a long time Bay Area resident who enjoys the city's sounds and sunsets seen from Nob Hill. Margot is a 15 year veteran of the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild and an International Tour Management Institute graduate. She was an art and history major.
Nan Bouton is a second generation San Franciscan. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College and she was the CFO for Katherine Del Mar Burke School for many years. Nan is a ceramic artist and she is currently involved with the Maybeck Foundation as a member of the Neighborhood Leadership Committee of the Campaign for the Palace of Fine Arts. She travels extensively and enjoys sharing the history of her own city with visitors.
